Having friends and family that are stationed over seas, donating coupons is an act of kindness that is really near and dear to my heart! I am extremely passionate about this and am so happy to share this with you guys!
Many people do not realize it, but you can ACTUALLY DONATE your expired coupons! Yes! I said it---EXPIRED! Our troops that are stationed overseas are living off of a single income. Unlike here, coupons are extremely hard to come by! There is an organization that sorts and issues expired coupons to families just like yours to use in the comminsary. The comminsary is a grocery store that is located on the base. The comminsary allows the use of expired coupons for up to 6 months past their expiration date!
So whenever you are cleaning out your coupon binder each week... DO NOT throw them away! Instead consider donating them!
I rencetly adopted a base in Italy! THANKS TO THE FRIENDS AND FAMILY I am currently getting ready to send over $5,000.00 worth of expired coupons overseas!

If you choose to send them to me.. DO NOT worry about sorting! I will do that!! Please note that internet coupons are NOT accepted since anyone can access them! Also Please do NOT send coupons that are over 2 months old! The people that do this are ALL volenteers--they do this on their own time! It sometimes takes months for them to sort the coupons! Soooo if I send them in January.. they may not get sorted until March.. Meaning theres only 3 more months to use!
Also there is no "reward" or tax write off for this! I just feel that EVERYTHING that is possible to be done to show support towards the troops needs to be done!
