So I was looking through the sales flyers doing my weekly lists and I came across the Kmart paper. They have a good bit of deals in their sales flyer so I decided to do some research on their "coupon" policy. This is what I found from doing some research:
Kmart does not have a "written" coupon policy anywhere on their website.
- Kmart accepts all manufacturer coupons (from inserts, magazines, tearpads, peelies, blinkies, etc.)
- Kmart accepts print-at-home HOWEVER Kmart can only accept print-at-home coupons if they scan properly at checkout. THIS site tells about them now accepting at home printed coupons.
- Kmart will not accept coupons for more than about 75% of a product’s value.
- Coupons will be rejected if they appear distorted or blurry, altered in any way, or are obvious duplicates. **TRUST me.. they WILL reject them! AND make you look like a horrible person for trying to use them!
- Kmart will not accept coupons that are for FREE products printed coupons.
- Does not match competitors ads or prices
- Does not take other stores in-store coupons
- Kmart occasionally will have a sales event where they willdouble coupons.. however there are alot of rules and regs. that are just wayyy too hard to explain. Its more along these lines.. you have to spend $25.00 before they will even consider doubling your coupons
- Also, You CAN stack coupons. They have printable coupons on their website that you can print and the coupons in their sales flyers you can "stack" your manufacturer coupons with. There is not rule about it...I recommend trying it and seeing what happens. I am assuming it is to the store. Good luck.
I hear you on Kmart!!! They actually have some decent things in there that you cannot find in other stores but the one where I live has "TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE" so I try not to go anymore than I have to,and I often find that the sales that are offered in the ad's are not the case when you get to the store.. :(
