This is Target's coupon policy as taken off their website! Wherever I have highlighted.. I have added a NOTE to it.. So I dont recommend printing this one off and taking it as a reference! BUT.....here is the link! in case you do want to print it off! And of course, I recommend printing it off! I just figured I would share this.. because Target really has some good deals if you work your coupons right!
Target Stores Coupon PolicyCoupons are a great way to save even more when shopping with us, and it's easy to use them at our stores.
• Target accepts one manufacturer coupon and one Target coupon for the same item (unless prohibited) **NOTE: Each month, Target lists a bunch of new STORE coupons online. Click HERE to get to the coupons! You can STACK these coupons, meaning you can use BOTH coupons on one item!
• Super Target coupons can be used in any Target store if the store carries the item
• We gladly accept valid internet coupons
Because of the variety of coupons available to our guests, we do have some guidelines for how coupons can be redeemed at Target.
When accepting coupons, we use the following guidelines:
• We accept two kinds of coupons: Target-issued coupons and manufacturer-issued.
• We'll accept one Target coupon and one manufacturer coupon for the same item, unless either coupon prohibits it.**NOTE: IT will tell you on the Target coupon if you CAN NOT stack it. If it doesnt say you cant.. then you can!
• Coupon amount may be reduced if it exceeds the value of the item after other discounts or coupons are applied.**NOTE: SOME Targets allows you to do overrage.. SOME Targets DO NOT! I am assuming it is the stores descretion. The store I usually shop at DOES.
• We can't give cash back if the face value of a coupon is greater than the purchase value of the item.**NOTE they will NOT give you cash back for an item. So you will have to buy a "filler"* item, or purchase several differnt items IF they allow the overrage! (see note for filler at the bottom.)
• We can't accept coupons from other retailers, or coupons for products not carried in our stores.
• All valid coupons should be presented to the cashier while you're checking out.
**FILLER--Filler is a termed used for something that is used whenever an overrage cannot be given. For example, If I perchase a few items and my total comes up to be $-1.00 then I will perchase a pack of gum.. candy bar.. etc. Something CHEAP just to bring the total due over the negative amount!
Please feel free to ask me questions! I will answer them to the best of my knowledge!
