How To Read Coupon Matchups! :)

Looking at Coupon Matchups?! Do they look like jibberish to you!? Well hopefully by the end of this blog you won't think that!!

I am sure you have seen something like this:
Name of Store Coupon matchups 01/02

What is it you ask!? Well There are tons of coupon sites out there that match up deals with available coupons! If the store accepts a coupon.. I am SURE you can find a "coupon matchup site" for it! :)

Soooo Okay! This is an example of a recent coupon matchup from a random store:

Betty Crocker Hamburger, Tuna, or Chicken Helper at $2.19 – On Sale Buy One Get One Free
Buy 2 and use 2 $0.75/1 printable
Or buy 3 and use $0.75/3 coupon from the 5/22 SmartSource insert
As low as $0.34 each after coupon

So Betty Crocker Hamburger Helper meanls are on sale B1G1 at this certain store. The ad has price $2.19 listed.
If you see words Underlined...it means there is a printable available. (I alwasy do mine like this.)  So you can click the underlined portion and it will take you to a site where the coupon is available for printing.
This portion of the matchup seems to be the MOST confusing to people. So if you see something like this:

$0.75/3 coupon from the 5/22 SmartSource insert

The $.75/3 means you can get $.75 off of THREE of those items! THREE! Anything you see a number with a backslash taht means the coupon says you have to buy THAT many products to get the money off which is listed at the front of the backslash...typically.

"coupon from the 5/22 Smart Source insert"... This particular coupon was found in the Smart Source coupon insert of the newspaper on Sunday May 22!

I hope this doesn't confuse anybody. I honestly hope it helps. I will be adding and editing this...so keep checking back! :)
